Lagos State Government has announced the extension of hours operation for both food market and non food market from 8am to 6pm
The extension was contained in a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Dr Wale Ahmed, stating that the decision was to mitigate the hardship of the people as well as providing for more trading hours in other to enhance the economy.
Dr Ahmed who noted that it is the decision of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to ensure safety of the citizens, stressed that the alternate trade days remains unchanged.
He however, urged all Lagosians to abide with the stipulated COVID-19 protocols and maintain social distance.
