The Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu said his administration in line with the T.H.EM.E.S Agenda, Health and Environment will be Rebuilding, Remodelling and Repositioning Massey Children Hospital into a Seven-Story 150-bed, ultra modern, fit-for-purpose Paediatric General Hospital.
In his words”The construction of New Massey Children’s Hospital reflects our determination to bridge all gaps in the health sector”.
The administration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu has promised to embark on the regeneration of Adeniji Adele, Tapa and Oke Popo Streets.
Anikantanwo, Pelewura Market,Ojo Giwa Streets, Idumagbo Avenue will also be reconstructed.
In his words”These projects are an integral part of the greater Lagos Vision. They present another unique opportunity to advance the cause of Lagos and improve the well-being of Lagosians”.
It is believed that the problems of flooding, Traffic gridlock will be eliminated when these projects are completed.
Prof Akin Abayomi commissioner for Health said the hospital is the first project in the health blueprint strategy of this administration.
