Lagos State Government has launched a portal for retired offices and prospects in other to communicate with the Lagos State Pension Commission, LASPEC, on management of retirees’ entitlement and difficulties.
The site is a web interface which provided an avenue for interaction between the retirees and officers of LASPEC.
According to the Director General LASPEC, Mr. Babalola Obilana, in a statement said the initiative has been announced earlier by the commission and needs to be addressed especially at this period when the State Government is trying to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
Obilana added that the development will enhance the service of the Commission to the retirees, give the retirees opportunity to know the progress of documents under process and check status as well as Bond certificate processing.
The D.G, said that the flagship application has been launched and made available on cloud to ensure quality service delivery.
“Retirees will also be able to fill forms for issuance of identification cards for health insurance forms and other social intervention forms”.
