Lagos residents have appealed to the State Government to review the electricity tariff and fuel pump price in the interest of the people.
They have also called on school authorities to avoid unnecessary increase in tuition fees to avoid pupils dropping out from school.
A cross section of Nigerians have faulted the recent hike in fuel pump price claiming, the development came at a wrong time when the economy was already paralysed.
The hike in the electricity tariff and the privatization of power did not change anything as it has been business as usual.
Prices of commodities especially edibles have skyrocketed due to the sudden hike in fuel pump price.
Nigerians have continued to appeal to Government to find a lasting solution to the economic challenges bedevilling the nation.
Speaking to our correspondent, Iremide on the effect of the increase in fuel pump price on school resumption, Mrs Funmi Babajide and Mrs Ado-Imosile said this was not the time as parents are struggling to make ends meet and pay for School fees, adding that most parents lost their jobs due to COVID 19 pandemic.
