Lagos State Government discharge 50 COVID-19 patients, from various isolation facilities in the State to reunite with their families and society at large.
The discharged patients are 13 females and 37 males including 26 Foreign Nationals having fully recovered and tested negative to the virus.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, made this known in a release while briefing pressmen on update of the COVID-19 pandemic in the State in Alausa, Ikeja.
Gov. Sanwo-Olu noted that, it is now an offence for Lagos residence to go out without using a facemask.
He enjoins the people to comply with the directives of the Government in other to have a COVID-19 free Lagos.
“The patients; 6 from Agidingbi, 14 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) 22 from Onikan, 1 from Vidic and 7 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged after full recovery and testing negative to COVID-19.
“Remember, it is now a criminal offence in Lagos State to go out without using a facemask. Let’s continue to adhere strictly to all public advisories given by Government. #ForACOVID-19FreeLagos,” the governor said.
