The Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazak on Friday, July 3, 2020 announced a shift in his cabinet which involves five commissioners.
The change of office which was stated in a statement by the Governor’s media aide, Rafiu Ajakaye said that the affected Commissioners are to move from one Ministry to the other.
The Commissioners affected by the reshuffling are the Commissioner for Communication, Olanrewaju Murtala relocate to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Harriet Adenike Afolabi Oshatimehin goes to Ministry of Communication.
“Commissioner for Environment Aliyu Mohammed Saifudeen resume to the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development. Hajia Aisha Ahman-Pategi moves to the Ministry of Special Duties; also the Commissioner for Special Duties Funke Juliana Oyedun goes to the Ministry of Environment.”
The Governor stated that the changes was to serve the people of Kwara more better. He also commended the BUA Group for donating three ambulance buses to the Kwara State Government some months ago after the empire donates N100 million to the state’s Covid-19 Campaign.
“I am so glad that BUA has lived up to the expectations again. It is not just the buses. BUA recently gave us N100 million which we are very grateful for”.
