Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has described as untrue statement of Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRasaq at a book launch that the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed mismanaged campaign funds for 2019 elections.
Legal Adviser for the APC Caretaker Committee in the State, Barrister. Oladimeji Mustapha who stated this at a press conference in Ilorin, said that such statement is not expected from the Governor who had publicly admitted that he did not sponsor the party campaign.
Barrister Mustapha said that the APC members are appalled by the persistent castigation, cheap blackmail, character assassination and incitement, against and among leadership of the party.
The legal adviser explained that the party is displeased by the act of rudeness and the exposure of Kwara APC to public disrepute by not exploring internal mechanism to address whatever issues in contention.
On alleged suspension by some caucus, Barrister Mustapha added that the APC constitution does not give room for any caucus of the party to and suspend any of its member.
