Former presidential candidate in the last elections, Kingsley Moghalu on Tuesday held private meetings with former heads of state – General Ibrahim Babangida (Rtd) and General Abdulsalami Abubakar (Rtd) – in Minna, Niger State.
Moghalu, who is also a former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, was at the hill top mansion to discuss the state of the nation and way former with the former leaders.
“Consultations on the state of the nation…visited and met today in Minna with former heads of state H.E. Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, GCFR and H. E. Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) GCFR. Profound discussions on the path forward for national stability and progress,” he tweeted.
The 57-year-old, who recently vowed to recontest for the highest position on the land was the presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in the 2019 elections won by president Muhammadu Buhari.
Moghalu is also a political economist, lawyer, former United Nations official, and professor of International Business and public policy at the Tufts University Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
