Senator Dino Melaye, a former Kogi lawmaker, has resorted to social media to pay tribute to one of the passengers killed when the ill-fated Abuja-Kaduna train was ambushed by bandit terrorists on Monday night.
Recall that on Monday night, bandit terrorists bombed the Abuja-Kaduna train between Katari and Regina axes, killing some passengers.
Following that, the terrorists attacked the passengers and kidnapped some of them, whose whereabouts are still unknown.
Tibile, a Kogi Barrister who was claimed to be on an official assignment when terrorists attacked the train he boarded, is among the people who have been certified deceased.
Melaye, who shared a photo of Tibile, denounced the attack and described the Barrister as his brother and a promising young man.
He wrote; ”My Kogi brother Barr. Tibile was killed by the satanic characters that attacked the Abuja bound train. Very promising young man with great prospect. So sad.. so painful. Rest in peace”

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has termed the incident as a nightmare and demanded quick action to end the country’s senseless killings.
The forum’s chairman stated that the frequency of attacks is increasing, raising concerns about governors’ ability to lead their states, and urged security authorities to avoid future attacks on the country’s infrastructure.
While commiserating with the victims’ families, it stated that the recent wave of attacks in the country’s national history will undoubtedly be forgotten.
