Aprominent Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Kamarudin Yunus, has called on all professional organizations and Civil Society Organizations to come together and find a lasting solution to the current situation in the Country.
Sheikh Kamarudin Yunus called on the organizations to select representatives that would meet with the Government in order to find a resolution to the impasse.
He pointed out that violent protests is an ill wind that blows no good, explaining that experience from other climes, like Syria and Iraq, have shown that protests yielded no good results.
Sheikh Kamaldin called on Nigerians of goodwill to always seek for peaceful co-existence, as it is only in the atmosphere of peace that people could individually and collectively fulfill their aspirations.
