The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that every candidate who ran in the recently completed Osun local government poll has been chosen without opposition.
The candidates were declared winners after meeting all essential constitutional and electoral conditions, according to OSIEC Chairman Segun Oladitan, who made this statement in Osogbo on Sunday while handing certificates of return to every winner in the local government election.

According to Oladitan, the Commission made sure there were no ongoing legal restrictions preventing it from conducting the poll as of Friday, April 14—the day before it.
Speaking about voter indifference, he made the observation that political parties, not the election administration body, should be held accountable for the occurrence because they failed to educate and mobilise the population for the election.
Some of the newly elected chairmen and councillors made a commitment to repay the faith that their local councils and wards members had placed in them.
