Kano State Governor Abdullahi Gaduje has stated that only God knows if he will hand over power to the All Progressives Congress, APC, or the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.

“It’s normal for a government to inherit projects,” Ganduje said at the commissioning of certain road in Kano. We took some over and finished them, and as a government, we are leaving some projects for the next administration. Only God knows which government I will hand over power to, the APC or the NNPP.”

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, proclaimed the NNPP’s Abba Yusuf the winner of the 2023 governorship election in the state, but the APC is contesting the results in court.
