Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, claims he is excited about the prospect of working with the newly crowned King Charles III. As Tinubu congratulated him on becoming King of England, he said this.
In a letter of congratulations to King Charles III on Saturday, Tinubu expressed his belief that the new monarch would surpass the accomplishments of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away in September 2022, and that King Charles would continue in her footsteps.
The incoming president expressed hope that the bilateral connection between Nigeria and Britain will continue and strengthen throughout King Charles’ reign. He urged the monarch to continue addressing the condition of the disadvantaged people in Africa and around the world.
Tinubu, who stated that he was eager to collaborate with the monarch, added: “It is heartwarming that your accession to the throne is coming after the 70-year-reign of your iconic mother, Queen Elizabeth II, whose death last September left the entire world in grief, given her eventful reign.
