Omoseyin Oluwadarasimi Esther, nicknamed Simisola Gold, with the Twitter handle @SimisolaofLala, has been detained by the ICPC for selling fresh naira notes on social media.
This was said in a statement issued by the ICPC’s spokeswoman, Azuka Ogugua, on Wednesday night in Abuja. According to the statement, the arrest was made as a consequence of intelligence that prompted ICPC agents to hunt out and apprehend the suspect.

“Oluwadarasimi Emma, a social media’serial entrepreneur’ who engages in cosmetics, petrol sales, facilitating international journeys through visa acquisitions, and other companies, exploited the opportunity of the shortage of the new naira notes to publicly promote the new notes,” according to the statement.
It is suspected that she is working with important figures in the financial services sector to reroute newly issued notes away from banking halls and payment systems and towards a ‘black market.’
