Hon. Olufemi Ajayi Samuel Apata has been declared the winner of the APC primary for the Somolu constituency 2 seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
APC party leaders, INEC officials, and media personnel were present at the election held at the Bariga Local Council Secretariat.
Hon Apata received 16 votes, defeating his nearest challenger, Hon Ade Bari Salau, who received 13 votes, and Hon Oluwaseun Osiyemi, who received one vote.
The election was attended by 30 delegates from the constituency’s six wards.

After the votes were counted, party leaders pronounced Apata the winner since he had the most votes.
