The Hisbah Command in Jigawa state has announced that 1223 of its employees have been dispatched to enforce a ban on DJ dancing, Galas, and other social vices, particularly during the Eid-El-Fitr celebrations.
This was said in a press conference held in Dutse, the state capital, by State Commandant, Malam Ibrahim.
He said the officers were dispatched to mosques and other public venues around the state where the Sallah celebration is taking place in order to maintain law and order.
During this time, the command has also prohibited the sale and use of firecrackers, according to Dahiru.
During this time, he said, Hisbah guards would set up a patrol to guarantee that anyone engaging in immoral behavior was apprehended.
As a result, the state Commandant recommended parents to keep an eye on their children’s movements, particularly during the Sallah celebrations.
