Toyin Mala, a commercial driver traveling the Abuja-Ajowa-Akoko road in Ondo state, was reportedly slain by suspected gunmen on Saturday.
According to sources, his lifeless body was taken to Ajowa in the middle of the night, sparking a rift in the community.
The victim claimed to have traveled from Abuja and taken a road connecting Akunnu and Efifa-Ajowan when he arrived in Akunnu-Akoko.
It was discovered that on his way to Ago Jinadu, he came across robbers and was gunned down while attempting to make a U-turn, while some of his passengers escaped.
Others’ whereabouts are still unknown.
SP Paulinus Onnah, Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Okeagbe-Akoko, confirmed the occurrence.
He claimed that his men went to the crime scene to carry the body.
Princess Tolani Orogun, the regent of Akunu-Akoko, expressed her concern over the malicious activities of ranchers and robbers in the area.
Two farmers were macheted by the herders in Ikakumo-Akoko within a fortnight, according to her.
According to her, this development has resulted in a rise in market food prices.
Princess Orogun has appealed for more security in the area in order to protect lives and property.
I know this site gives quality dependent posts and additional stuff, is there any other web site which provides such stuff in quality?
Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
