Nigerian singer Goya Menor criticised Portable after the latter claimed he wasn’t deserving of the Headies Award he received.
At the 15th Headies Awards, held on Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Goya was named Best Street-Hop.
Portable was nominated in one of two categories, but he was later disqualified by the organisers.
In response to the news, Portable criticised him, claiming that he is a one-hit wonder and that no one knows who he is.

The Zazuu star boasted in a social media video that he had various popular songs that the streets are dancing to, whereas Goya Menor has yet to produce any songs.
He branded the award-winning singer as nothing but a hype man who is allowing himself to be deceived.
Wetin concern me with person wey dem give Street Artiste of the Year award. Which song you sing, you sabi sing? Since wey you don sing that song, you sing another one wey blow? Them carry street give you he said.
But Menor claimed in an interview with Saturday Beats that he didn’t know the musician and thought the name was a rat poison. “Porta what?” he asked. Is that the name of a poison for rats? “I felt pleased,” Menor stated after receiving the honour. There was, at the very least, a high amount of transparency. Winning the Headies in less than a year in the music industry is a huge accomplishment for me.”
When asked if it is acceptable for artists to utilise social media to express their unhappiness with problems that worry them, the rapper replied, “Yes. That is why it is referred to as social media. That is where artists, like other celebrities, communicate with their audience.”
When asked how he felt about his Headies performance, he stated, “I was accepted 100 percent.” I’d like to thank everyone who was in that hall that day. When I was announced as the winner in my category, I received a standing ovation. For me, the Headies Atlanta (United States of America) experience was fantastic.”
