Nyesom Wike, the Governor of Rivers State, has sworn never to tolerate northern domination in party leadership.
In addition to hosting PDP candidates and local government party chairmen from Cross River State at his home in Port Harcourt, where he donated 25 buses to support their campaigns. He claimed that no one could persuade him to give up his support for party internal democracy.

Wike who made this revelation on Wednesday night disagreed with the party’s present leadership structure, which includes Iyorchia Ayu as national chairman, Atiku Abubakar as the party’s presidential candidate, and Aminu Tambuwal as director general of the presidential campaign.
Wike also pledged his support for the Cross River PDP while urging the candidates to take their chances in the poll.
