The Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 announced that he is self isolating as a result of been tested positive for COVID-19.
Dr. Fayemi made this known in a statement on his verified Twitter handle.
He added that he will be continuing his routine duty from home and critical tasks should be done by the State Deputy Governor.
According to him “I took my third COVID-19 test yesterday and it came back positive. I’m generally ok and I’m already self isolating at home and receiving the best Care from my Medical team. I’m delegating critical tasks to my Deputy but will continue routine duty from home.”
