Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State, has given his approval for the appointment of seven new permanent secretaries in the region.
Some of the open positions in the Kogi State Civil Service will be filled by the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries.
This was revealed in a statement made on Monday by Mrs. Hannah Odiyo, Head of Service for Kogi State.
Jibrin Sanda Alhaji, Ali Gloria Eriawata, Ujah Hannah Ilemona, and Oloruntoba Iyabo Elizabeth have all just been named as Permanent Secretaries.
Yakubu Suleiman Aliu, Itodo Joseph Daniel, and Muhammad Kassim Imam were also named Permanent Secretaries.
Mrs. Odiyo thanked Governor Bello for his approval of the appointments, noting that they were made on the basis of merit, fairness, and competence. She urged the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to live up to the enormous confidence placed in them by being devoted to their work and steadfastly supportive of the current administration.
