Achieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Lagos, Mr. Babatunde Gbadamosi emerged as the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PD), in the Lagos East Senatorial District Bye Election slated for 31st of October, 2020.
Gbadamosi who polled 529 votes to defeat his closest contestant Princess Saidat Fafowora who scored 59 votes, while Mr. Moshood Babatunde scored 21 votes Princess Abiodun Oyefusi scored 7 votes.
Announcing the results, Chairman of the Primary Election Committee, Mr. Ndidi Okereke said Mr. Gbadamosi would represent PDP in the bye election having scored the highest number of vote in the primary election.
