An ex-chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Vincent Ogbulafor, has passed away. Ogbulafor, 73, was said to have passed away on Thursday, October 06, 2022 in Canada following a brief, unexplained illness.
The deceased’s lawyer and close friend, Goddy Uwazurike, predicted that Ogbulafor would be buried the next year.
“Chief Vincent Ogbulafor KSM, who was 73, actually passed away in Canada early today. The funeral ceremonies will be held on a certain date that will likely be announced by the Royal Family of Ogbulafor next year, according to Uwazurike.
“He was the head of the family. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord. Let perpetual light shine on him.”

On May 24, 1949, Ogbulafor was born in Olokoro, Umuahia South LGA, Abia State. He was formerly the PDP’s national secretary.
He resigned from his position as party chairman after being accused of financial irresponsibility while serving as a minister.
When the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the 2015 presidential election, he is said to have boasted that the PDP would reign for 40 years, putting an end to that desire.
