Sunday Oliseh has been chosen by the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) as a technical expert for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Arsene Wenger, the former Arsenal coach, Jurgen Klinnsmann, the former German coach, and three other prominent technocrats are on the squad, according to the former Super Eagles player and coach, who made the announcement of the latest appointment on Saturday, October 02, 2022 via his Twitter page.
The former Juventus of Italy midfielder resigned his appointment as the manager of the German 4th division side SV 19 Straelen last month due to the inconsistent results.
FIFA published its 5-man technical expert team with just 50 days till the World Cup kicks off, and Oliseh’s name was on the list.

The 47-year-old Nigerian was excited about the appointment and added that his group started working on Friday evening.
“Extremely honoured to have been appointed by FIFA as a technical expert for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar,” he wrote.
“In privileged company of “Sir” Arsene Wenger, Jurgen Klinnsman and 3 others. Work started last night . Qatar 2022 is looking great and ready.”
