Federal Government on Monday, August 10, 2020 directed all Civil Servant on Grade level 12 and 13 and special duties officers to resume fully to work.
The directive was contained in a circular issued by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan stating that “workers affected would resume work from Monday to Friday and be in the office from 8am to 4pm as usual”.
Recall, that workers on level 14 and above go to work thrice in a week, as part of measures to curb the spread of corona virus in the Country.
Yemi- Esan however urge Chief Executive Officers to ensure full compliance of the directive on preventing the spread of COVID-19 pandemic by observing physical distancing, regular hand washing, use of face mask and hand sanitizer.
She added that avoidance of crowd in an office is important and In a situation where the numbers of people cold not be managed, Permanent Secretary and Chief Executive Officers should introduce a duty roaster.
