Muhammadu Sanusi, the reinstated Emir of Kano, has said that God planned for him to be reinstated and has urged people to hold fast to their faith and concentrate on Allah’s works in both good and terrible times.
Recall that Abdullahi Ganduje, the current National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, and Muhammadu Sanus had a falling out in 2020, leading to Sanus’s removal as the 14th Emir of Kano. However, Sanusi was recently reappointed as the 16th Emir of Kano by state Governor Abba Yusuf, who stated that Sanusi’s reappointment was “based on his competence, credibility and popularity.”

Sanusi II highlighted that all that occurs is in accordance with God’s plan and cannot be questioned while speaking at the Friday prayers at the Kofar Kudu Central Mosque in Kano.
“Whoever believes that Allah alone gives everything must accept Allah’s decision wholeheartedly,” said He Emir. Nobody ever questions Allah’s motives for anything.
“We were told that whoever did not accept destiny is from Allah, his belief is not complete. One should be thankful in times of good and bad situations. We must believe that whatever happens to us is predestined from God and what we couldn’t have is from Him.
“We have to observe supplications these days and we are fast approaching Zhul Hijja, which is very beneficial,” he said.
