Nigerians have been warned by Senator Shehu Sani not to take their housemaids on international trips.
In response to the organ harvesting issue involving Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, Sani offered the advice.
InsightnaijaTV earlier reported that the Metropolitan Police detained the couple and filed court charges against them for alleged organ harvesting involving a kid.
Sani responded to the circumstance on his Facebook page, writing, “People who are accustomed to taking their young Housemaids overseas to assist them in caring for their children should be wary.
“If the Housemaids decide to report that they were trafficked, the authorities of that country will step into the matter.
“And it will take you a long time to get out of trouble even if you are innocent.”
