After voting was completed at 2.30 p.m. in most regions, vote counting and sorting began in polling units in Saturday’s Ekiti State governorship election.
InsightnaijaTV reports that while most Polling Units are still counting ballots, some have already completed the process.
Sorting and counting were completed about 3.30 p.m. in Polling Unit 031, Ward 10 Ado J Okesa, located at All Souls Anglican Grammar School, New Iyin Road, Ado Ekiti.
Only 259 persons were accredited and voted in Polling Unit 012, Ward 10, Ado-Ekiti LGA, out of 857 registered voters. Voting ended at 2:30pm, and the results were still being sorted out at the time of filing the report.
In polling units in Ado-Ekiti, the situation was nearly identical.
