The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Makurdi Zonal Command, has detained eight people for their involvement in computer-related fraud.
Okoha Chinedu Charles, Chibuizor Philip Nnake, Emmanuela Odeh Eneokpe, Ushir Terhile John, Okoro Ossico Osaro, Ejiofor Chibuizor, Wandoo Juliet Baru, and Tarbee Destines are among the suspects.

According to a statement made available to InsightnaijaTV by Wilson Uwujaren, the commission’s head of media and publicity, they were apprehended on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 during an operation by Commission agents in Makurdi, Benue State.
He went on to say that the suspects would be charged in court as soon as the investigations were completed.
