“An order restraining on-air-personality mister Kayode Oladotun popularly known as Do2dtun, either by himself, servants, privies, cohorts, representatives or any person deriving authority from him, from further making any malicious, intimidating or defamatory post against singer Oladapo Oyebanjo, also known as D’banj, on any social media platform or news media pending the hearing and determination of the substantive case,” was granted by Chief District Court of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, His Honour Emmanuel Iyanna.
Toheeb Lawal, one of D’banj’s attorneys, submitted a request for an injunction prohibiting Do2dtun from making hostile and defamatory remarks against him on social media to the court.

Additionally, the court directed the Force Intelligence Bureau’s Deputy Inspector of Police to look into a criminal complaint filed by D’banj against Do2dtun and report back to the court in two weeks.
Do2dtun had been attacking D’banj on social media for several weeks. The OAP wed Taiwo, D’banj’s sister, in 2013, and the couple had two daughters. But in November 2021, Taiwo filed for divorce from Do2dtun before Justice A.I. Akobi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court. Taiwo claimed that Do2dtun had subjected her to “unending reckless emotional abuse, forced abortion, and vicious domestic violence,” which had a negative impact on her general health and well-being.
Mister Do2dtun had also claimed that he was denied access to his daughter, but Taiwo refuted her ex-husband’s claims, asserting that the entertainer has custody of their children in contrast to what her ex-husband had said.
