Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, mocked Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Bode George’s assertion that the PDP is controlled by demons and the devil and offered his thoughts on the PDP situation.
He did so in response to PDP leader Bode George’s statement that the devil might be lurking within the ranks of the opposition party.
In response to the standoff between Governor Nyesom Wike and PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, George spoke out.
The PDP chieftain told them to “calm down,” saying it seems “some type of devil” has joined the party.
Fani-Kayode responded by highlighting how Wike and Southerners were duped by the PDP.
“The PDP is the party toying with demons today,” said Fani-Kayode in a statement to Channels Television. “At the height of their effrontery, they deceived Wike and all the Southerners, and they are still insisting nothing would change; that the party chairman will not resign.
“So, what will they do if they come into power? I think that Bode George is right that a demon and devil have entered into the PDP, but where I disagree with him is that the devil and demon will never leave the PDP.
“The devil and demon have a grip on PDP and I can assure you of this that when we begin campaigns, we will expose them further.”
