The Defence Intelligence Agency has declared a former Nigerian Navy Commodore, Kunle Olawunmi, wanted for exposing in an interview how the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration refused to probe high profile politicians whom Boko Haram terrorists named as their sponsors.
Speaking on Wednesday, former Navy Commodore Olawunmi (Rtd) told Channels Television that the Nigerian government knows those behind the decade-long Boko Haram insurgency in the country.
He claimed that the government has developed cold feet in fighting the insurgency because some of those backing Boko Haram are now top-ranking government officials.
Report reaching InsightnaijaTv indicates that the DIA have asked Olawunmi to come to its Abuja headquarters on Tuesday with his international passport.
