Chris Okotie, head pastor of the Household of God Church International Ministries, asserts that he has no desire to remarry again.
The 64-year-old cleric stated he will not get married again because Jesus has already informed him that his current marriage has ended during a conversation with BBC Pidgin.
According to Okotie, he was called by God to live a celibate life like the biblical Apostle Paul, but he did not understand the call until he was older.
Jesus has already told me that my current marriage has ended, so I’m not getting married again. I was a university student when I was saved and when I was born again. I was unable to comprehend God’s plan for my life.
“I addressed you as Paul. At that point, I tried to stop you, but you were unreceptive. I want you to dedicate your life to me and the task I have given you. Therefore, marriage will never be an option again, he stated.
Remember that Okotie had been a part of two unhappy marriages?
He first wed Tina, however the couple later divorced in 2001. On the other hand, he married Stephanie Henshaw in 2008, but their marriage disintegrated in 2012.
