The music video for Burna Boy‘s most recent hit, “Whiskey,” which won him a Grammy, will be released on Thursday.
The “Ye” singer claims that the mini-documentary-style film, which will be released, emphasises the difficulties of environmental degradation plaguing the Niger Delta region as a result of oil drilling.

The artist claims that this will provide the people of Port Harcourt a platform to share their tales with the world.
Through his music, the musician has been at the vanguard of advocating for the Niger Delta region’s residents. The song “Monsters You Made” from his Grammy Award-winning album “Twice As Tall” illustrates how the people of that region are suffering as a result of the government’s broken promises.
“We let the people tell their stories – Whiskey mini-documentary out Thursday 7 pm,” he revealed on his Instagram handle.
“If the government refused to develop the region. And continue the marginalization and injustice. The youth that’s what comes after us. And it will be more brutal, than what we have done.”
