President Muhammadu Buhari has agreed to address the House of Representatives on the state of insecurity in the country over the gruesome killing of 43 farmers in Borno State.
The lawmakers had on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, summoned the president following the killing of the farmers on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at a rice field in Garin Kwashebe area of the state.
He said the date of the address would soon be made public.
The House of Representatives had on Tuesday resolved to invite Buhari to address lawmakers on efforts being made to address the security challenges in parts of the country.
