President Muhammadu Buhari has landed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to attend Expo 2020.
Buhari Sallau, a presidential assistant, stated this on social media on Thursday.
The theme of EXPO 2020 Dubai is “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,” and it will provide an opportunity for Nigeria to join over 190 countries in forging authentic and meaningful connections “to build a brighter future for everyone.”
The President will meet with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, in addition to touring the Nigerian Pavilion at the Expo on Friday, Nigeria’s National Day.
On Saturday, Buhari will attend the Unveiling Investment Opportunities in Nigeria Trade and Investment Forum as a Special Guest of Honor. It was put together by Nigeria’s Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment to remember the country’s participation in the summit.
