Oba Saliu Adetunji, the Olubadan of Ibadan land, has died.
Though the death has yet to be officially disclosed, palace sources who requested anonymity verified the death.

The monarch died today, 2 January 2022, at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo state, at the age of 93.
Oba Adetunji was a successful businessman, and during his reign, Ibadan was peaceful.
