L agos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has on Tuesday, suspended the re-opening of churches, mosques indefinitely.
The Governor made this known while speaking with the pressmen,noting that the decision was made as a result of increase in index cases in the State.
Mr. Sanwo-Olu said the State would continue to monitor the situation closely.
He emphasised that all places of worship in the State will remain closed while social and events centres, and social clubs, will also remain be closed, for now.
The Governor however appeal to residents of the State to adhere strictly to the precautionary measures in other to cushion the spread of the virus, urging people to avoid non-essential travel, and stay at home when people don’t have any business being outside.
