Three police officers were killed by unknown assailants at a police check station in Enugu on Thursday, causing unrest.
The incident occurred in the Enugu South local government area of the state, near the timber junction, Maryland axis.
A woman and her driver were reportedly kidnapped at the same time by hoodlums.

A Keke operator was shot while the hoodlums were shooting intermittently on the air to scare people away, according to Vanguard.
The event was confirmed by the Enugu command spokesman, who said the details were still unclear. He claimed that the hoodlums were being pursued by police.
