Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, has been sworn in as the sixth democratically elected governor of Anambra State.
Soludo, who won the governorship election on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), was sworn in at the Government House in Awka, the state capital, in a low-key event.
Willie Obiano’s eight-year reign came to an end on Thursday, March 17, 2022, when the economics professor took over.
