Believer have been adominshed not to relent in the act of giving to the less- privileged around them, not only as an act of worship unto to God but to reduce the rate of crime in the society which has been linked to high rate of poverty in the society.
This was the epicenter of the sermon of the Senior Pastor of Hope of Glory Ministries, Pastor Okunola Adeyemi in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Pastor Adeyemi who explained that the act of giving unto the needy is one of the ways to attract blessings from God, said that the dubious nature of some individuals, who deceive kind hearted people with fake medical conditions, should not discourage them from giving to the less- privileged.
He called on Government at all level to provide more of skill aquisition programmes and start up financial grants for the less- privileged and unemployed in the society to reduce the increasing rate of crime.
