On December 8, Bayern Munich and Barcelona will play a Champions League group match behind closed doors.
As rates of coronavirus illness soar in Bavaria, Bayern will meet Barcelona at the Allianz Stadium with no fans in attendance.
As Group E victors, Bayern has qualified for the knockout stages, with Barcelona and Benfica slugging it out for the second slot in the last 16.
With a win, Barcelona would advance regardless of the fate of the other group game.
A draw or loss, on the other hand, would allow Benfica to go to the knockout stages ahead of the Catalans if they beat Dynamo Kiev.
Barcelona lost 3-0 to Bayern Munich at the Nou Camp in September, while their most recent visit to the Allianz Arena was a 3-2 semi-final second-leg loss in March 2015.
Barcelona, on the other hand, advanced to the final after a 3-0 first-leg victory and went on to defeat Juventus in the final to capture their fifth and most recent Champions League trophy.
