All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has said that the current and future generations will continue to treasure the memory of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.
He spoke at a lecture titled: ‘Awolowo legacies in education and politics: Enduring lessons for contemporary Nigeria’, organised by the Faculty of Education, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State.
At the lecture held at Oduduwa Hall, the former Lagos State governor, represented by the Deputy Chairman of Southwest Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA’23), Sen. Adesoji Akanbi, described Awolowo as an embodiment of many amazing things; a great leader, a nationalist, a statesman, a democrat, a visionary, an emancipator and a distinct administrator.
He said Awolowo played a leading role in securing independence for Nigeria, adding that he was a key and a prominent leader in the first and second republics.
The event was witnessed by Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Oba Fredrick Akinruntan, OAU Vice Chancellor and chief host Prof Eyitope Ogunbodede, and the Dean, Faculty of Education, Prof. Adepeju Omoteso.
Former APC Interim Chairman Chief Adebisi Akande was guest speaker.

I visited several sites but the audio quality for audio songs current at this website is truly wonderful.
Does your site have a contact page? I’m having problems locating it but, I’d like to send you an e-mail. I’ve got some suggestions for your blog you might be interested in hearing. Either way, great site and I look forward to seeing it expand over time.
Why viewers still use to read news papers when in this technological world everything is existing on net?
