Reno Omokri, a socio-political activist, has praised Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, for meeting with Northern Christian bishops.
Omokri responded by writing on his social media platforms that while the action was commendable, it was insufficient.
He asserts that Tinubu and Kashim Shettima may not fare well in the 2023 presidential election on the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the ruling party.
I applaud Bola Tinubu’s efforts to reach out to the Northern Christian community by visiting with their bishops, he wrote. But this is insufficient. Deal with your erroneous ticket. For a Muslim-Muslim ticket, Nigeria is too split.

Recalls that the former governor of Lagos State met with several Christian clerics yesterday under the auspices of the Pentecostal Bishops Forum of Northern Nigeria.
In the discussion, Tinubu revealed that Kashim Shettima, a former governor of Borno State, was not a threat to the Christian community.
