In response to sexual harassment claims made against him, Apostle Johnson Suleman, the general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, has brought Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar before the court.
Halima was taken before the court by Apostle Suleman through a lawsuit he filed through his agents, Ephesus Lex Attorneys & Solicitors. J. Enobie Obanor, a judge at the Abuja Judicial Division of the Federal Capital Territory High Court.
In October 2022, the priest filed a lawsuit against her for claimed defamation; trial is scheduled to begin on March 25, 2023.
Apostle Suleman sued the actress in 2022, requesting multiple reliefs from her, including a declaration that her publication was defamatory, a demand that she give an unreserved apology, and further monetary damages.

This happened just a day or two after she made three different pregnancies claims for the priest while dating him.
Halima claims that in addition to having relationships with several movie actresses, Apostle Suleman also had sex with them.
In a recent interview, Halima disclosed that she became pregnant for the priest but chose not to retain the baby.
She stated: “Yes, I was once pregnant for him. When I lost the baby, he was crying, you would think it was real because he was shedding tears that I lost his child.
“It’s crazy. I got pregnant three times for him. The last one got me bleeding. I had to take tablets to stop it.”
