Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad on Friday, sworn in Justice Monica Dongban – Mensem as the new President of the Court of Appeal.
Justice Dongban who is the second female President of the Appeal Court with largest number of justices was charged to function up to expectation and maintain good relationship with the people she will be working with.
Justice Muhammad also advised the president of Court of Justice to continue with good character and ensure diligence in the discharge of her role.
“So much is expected of you, but with your experience, hardwork and zeal, you will not find your new status difficult.
“Try to be yourself and do not allow others derail you. Remain what we know you for” Mallam Muhammad said.
