Former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will retain power in 2023 and continue to lead the country for the next 50 years.
Speaking with reporters on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Abuja, Sheriff stated that in order for the party to remain in power, all party chieftains must work together and settle all their differences.
The former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) advised all APC members to unite to sustain the party at the end of President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure in 2023.
He said: “Today, as a party we are only six years in government, our aspirations are for the APC to be in government in the next 50 years.
