The River State chapter of All Progressive Congress, APC, is witnessing a deepening crisis following the rejection of Igo Aguma as the acting Chairman of the party by statutory members of the party.
The statutory members who were 28 out of 38 on Monday, June 22, 2020 while addressing newsmen resolved to
suspend Aguma as the acting Chairman of the party in the State and constitute another caretaker committee which will be led by Sokonte Davies.
The members also said that Aguma was acting against the letter of the High Court judgement that made him the caretaker Chairman.
