On Wednesday, Aisha Buhari, President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, stormed the Nigerian Senate Chambers.
According to InsightnaijaTV, Aisha is the first First Lady to be welcomed inside the Senate Chambers by the Senate leadership.

The President’s wife is reportedly in the Red Chamber to watch the laying of the Senate Constitution Review Committee’s report.
Mrs. Pullen Tallen, Minister of Women Affairs; Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning; and some of her personal aides escorted Aisha Buhari to the Chambers.
The Senate had postponed the submission of the report during the proceedings to accommodate Buhari’s wife’s arrival.
