The Labour Party’s presidential campaign, according to Adamu Garba, a former candidate for president of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was “a grand Ponzi scheme.”
Taking a screenshot of the headline from a news article that said, “Non-compliance with UK audit regulations, shady campaign transactions, and other reasons Obi spent Easter in detention,” Garba claimed that the fact that the LP presidential campaign was a Ponzi scam did not surprise him.

He stated in a tweet: “Hmmm Hmmmmmm. Thus, the entire Obi-Datti issue was a massive Ponzi scheme. Although shocked, not surprised.
Recall that Obi was arrested last Friday at London’s Heathrow Airport and held there for hours due to an alleged impersonation.
After being questioned by UK Immigration officers, he was subsequently freed.
